Description of position:
As a Registered Manager, your role will be to effectively manage the branch locations, ensuring the effective day to day operation of high quality care support services are in place. You will be working alongside colleagues to promote the business in a professional light.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective day to day operation of high-quality care support services
- Ensure that sufficient staff with the right values, are recruited to meet the service demand,
- Strive to develop and deliver care of the highest possible standard
- Build and maintain relationships with Commissioners and Partner Agencies as appropriate
- Managing and developing recruitment strategies and functions to ensure that there are sufficient care workers available
- Ensure that the service operates within budget and hits financial targets
- Line management of the team of care coordinators, administrators and care staff, ensuring people have regular supervision and appraisal
- Lead the team in achieving key performance indicators and targets
- Deliver the highest standard of care, service and staff support with the aim of achieving outstanding inspection results
- Lead and manage the service with the support of your care management team and our central support team
- Ensuring that Local Authority / CCG / CHC/Self Funder contracts are being adhered to
- Ensuring that the service is meeting its legislative requirements and remains fully compliant with CQC standards and Key Lines of Enquiry;
- Responsible for the local management of the service
- To be Registered with the CQC
- Participate in the on-call function when the business need arises
- To update key training where necessary to carry out the full responsibility of the role

Essential
- Driving Licence, with access to own transport
- Excellent business and interpersonal skills, work successfully under pressure and consistently achieve KPIs/targets against tight deadlines
- Excellent compliance history and with proven ability of implementing strategies resulting in GOOD (or better) inspection ratings
- Highly knowledgeable of processes involved in CQC compliance and monitoring of service standards
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability of management and development of teams ensuring they are supported with appropriate training;
- Caring and empathetic approach developing person centred care plans tailored to personal needs
- Experience supporting and providing care to clients within a supported living setting
- Committed to a customer-focused approach coupled with high service standards
Desirable
- Previous experience working as a Registered Manager
- NVQ Level 5 in Management
