Valley Care are recruiting for 2x Senior Night Carers to join our team based at Harrison Park in Hull.
Harrison Park is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.
We currently have the following openings available:
- 2x part time night Senior Night Carers
- Shift patterns – 18.00 - 00.00
- Occasional annual leave cover required for night shifts as and when required (19.00 - 07.00)
Both positions will be working on a 2-week rolling rota (4/3 shift pattern)
- Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Potential for over time

Key Accountabilities:
- Writing person centred care plans
- Carrying out new client assessments and risk assessments
- Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments and completing Best Interest Decision paperwork
- Leading on client reviews and undertaking any resulting actions
- Medication reviews and audits
- Monitoring the quality of care delivered through spot checks in the field
- Delivering care when required
Person Profile:
- Good knowledge and understanding of working with Local Authority Contracts and CQC legislation
- Proficient IT user
- Exceptional Time management and ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Exemplary customer service
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Passion for high quality and care standards
- Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word and our own roster system (training provided)
Requirements:
- Have a right to work within the UK
