We have opportunities of a part time position available. Working usual shift patterns of:
Weekdays - 08.30 -14.30 + the occasional evening 20.00-21.00 (Must be flexible on times as shifts do vary each day)
Every other weekend – Saturday 9-11 and Sunday 08.30-13.30.

Job Description:
As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes
FND is complex and causes a wide range of symptoms that can vary considerably in the number and severity of how they affect each individual. Below, is a list of some symptoms which affect the service user
- Functional Seizures
- Muscle Spasms / Dystonia,
- Cognition,
- Involuntary movements,
- Involuntary noises,
- Limb motor weakness,
- Fatigue,
- Speech difficulties and swallowing
- Atonic bladder
- Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping with the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
- Supporting service users to access and be a part of the local community, including attending appointments, events and social activities where needed.
- Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
- Support with administering medication.
Requirements:
- Have a right to work within the UK.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. - Needs to be able to drive a manual car
- Experience in this role is essential. You will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care.
